***NEAT VINTAGE HAMMS BEER ARCHIVE**CAN IS EMPTY-IT NEVER HELD BEER****So back in the day I was a big-time beer can collector, and long-time member of the BCCA (since 1978) & the Hamms Club. Most of my collection is now gone, but I just found this little archive of items I had forgotten about. Here is the back-story on this collection...My father was friends with the man that acquired this can on Feb 13, 1964 as it came off the canning line. He worked at the Reynolds Aluminum plant in the "Flexible Packaging Division". Back then they were working on the first All-Aluminum Hamms beer can (lid and all). As stated in his letter concerning the can, it was made with the "drawn and Ironed" method, and it was from the first successful run of the can at the White Bear Lake, Minnesota canning plant (now defunct). Several of the first cans off the line were taken off, labeled with "Dymo tape" and given to the executives who were there that day. Unfortunately since I received this can from him in 2006, he has passed away. Fortunately the letter we wrote me almost 20 years ago documents the cans story. You will get the can, the letter/business card and I'll also include the December 2006/January 2007 issue of "Beer Cans & Brewery Collectibles", which includes a feature on this very can in the "Beer can Closeup" article. Can is in very good condition, has scrapes/minor dings from age and being handled over the decades. ***CAN IS EMPTY*** Displays great!***THIS WOULD BE THE CENTERPIECE TO YOUR HAMMS COLLECTION ONE OF A KIND ITEM*** *I SHIP TO THE CONTINENTAL 48 STATES ONLY****WILL BE SHIPPED OUT WITHIN 3 DAYS OF PAYMENT BUYER PAYS USPS GROUD ADVANTAGE SHIPPING I HAVE COVERED UP SOME OF THE ADDRESSES/PHONE NUMBERS WITH PAPER FOR PRIVACY*** (Condition: Pre-Owned)
