Pabst Old Tankard Ale OI flat top beer can, Milwaukee, WI
Pabst Old Tankard Ale OI flat top beer can, Milwaukee, WI
SOLD $496.01 Sold: May 12, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
Pabst Old Tankard Ale from Premier Pabst Brewing, Milwaukee, WI. Excellent condition, just a few small dings and scratches, great color. From the marks on the front and back of both rims it appears this may have been attached to other cans in some sort of assembly at some point. I have seen a few other Pabst cans from the same year with these marks and have read Pabst ran a contest for taverns to create displays of their empty cans at the time, that may be part of this can's history. Very scarce 1936 17 line story panel variation, #630 in Lilek book with an R9 ongrade rating. All original, please ask any questions you have before bidding. Thanks (Condition: Pre-Owned)
