Oddball *ZIP TOP!* S.F. 11 oz. 1962 Pull Top Beer Can Hamms Hamm's Flat Top Body
SOLD $249.95 Sold: Feb 10, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay **NOTE: LAST PICTURE IS NOT OF THIS CAN; IT'S THERE TO ILLUSTRATE WHAT THE CAN WAS INTENDED TO LOOK LIKE WITH THE FLAT TOP LID; NOT THE ZIP TOP LID THAT IS ON THIS ALL-ORIGINAL CAN.**Very unusual and tough 11 oz steel can to find as an indoor can and this clean. Zip top from the San Francisco Brewery - California, but the can advertises that it is the "New Easy to Open Aluminum Top" which was made to highlight the lighter weight aluminum flat top top lids. My guess is that the brewery slapped the zip tops on the extra flat top cans they had leftover before they changed the can design and got rid of the "New Easy to Open Aluminum Top" statement. If you have another explanation or example of this can like this with the flat top body and the zip top top, please shoot me a message and/or a pic, as I've never seen another example of this combination before--thanks. I'll update this auction listing, based on the knowledge from the collecting world.I combine shipping as I am selling many other cans today and you never have to pay extra shipping no matter how many cans you win from me! Just wait for the combined invoice if you win two more more cans. 30 Day Full Money back refund. 40+ year member of the BCCA, #23111
