Original Listing Description

eBay This auction is for a rare unopened EMPTY flat top Pabst Blue Ribbon olive drab beer can.Book # USBC 111-22.This is the olive drab can Pabst produced during World War II for U.S. military installations. As I understand it, not too many of these made it back stateside after the war. This can appears to be very rare with none available for purchase that I can easily find online. An unusual characteristic of this particular can is that it is unopened. The can is empty but unopened on the top and bottom.I’m not sure how this came to be.The condition is not perfect.I won’t attempt to grade the can.Instead I took a video of the can rotating so you can see it from all angles. The story behind this particular can is I went to an estate sale, lured by some Native American artifacts that I saw in the sale listing. While wandering around the house, it appeared that the owner was indeed Native American and also an advertising executive. There were advertising trophies and stacks of pre-computer advertising presentation boards in the attic. I flipped through the presentation boards looking for something famous but came up empty.I did notice one of his clients was Pabst Blue Ribbon since there were several Pabst magazine ad concept boards.Fast forward a bit and I found this can lying randomly on the carpeted floor in his office/art room.Because it was unusual, I added it to my pile of finds. There were no other beer cans or Breweriana collectibles in the house and it’s my very uneducated guess that the can was simply a gift from one of his clients. The photos and video show the exact items you will receive. Please contact me prior to purchasing if you have less than 10 positive feedbacks.I will ship this item to the buyer with a Priority Mail Signature Confirmation Thanks for looking and feel free to ask me questions. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
