2023 Anchor (Steam) Christmas Ale Ltd. Edition 16 oz Beer Can Only Avail@Brewery
2023 Anchor (Steam) Christmas Ale Ltd. Edition 16 oz Beer Can Only Avail@Brewery
SOLD $371.00 Sold: Jul 20, 2023 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
This is an EMPTY beer can that has been opened from the bottom. The last of a great legacy of Anchor Christmas Ales. They made a batch of the beer earlier this year and then when they announced that they would be closing the Brewery for good at the end of July 2023, they canned that batch, but only made it available at the Brewery in SF. It is not sold at stores. All the previous Our Special Ales were made in 12 oz bottles or magnums, so this is the true outlier--a 16 oz. can. I went to the Brewery today, bought this can, opened it from the bottom, poured it into a glass, drank it (yes, it was delish), rinsed it out, and now it can live in a can collection or Anchor Christmas Ale collection for the rest of time... There simply are not many of these and most people who went to the Brewery are keeping them for themselves and their friends, as it's really sad that this 127 year old brewery is closing its doors for good...Low Opening bid, and no reserve. 15 Day Full Money back refund. 40+ year member of the BCCA, #23111On Jul-15-23 at 08:41:01 PDT, seller added the following the Brewery sold out all the Christmas Ale cans in less than two days.
