"Pale Gold" Old Milwaukee Extra Dry Beer empty flat top beer can by the Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company, Milwaukee, WI. The brewery was established in 1849 by August Krug; Joseph Schlitz married his widow, Anna Maria, and changed the brewery's name to Jos. Schlitz Brewing Company in 1858; the brewery survived Prohibition and became the largest producer of beer in the United States; sold to Stroh in 1982. This is one of two different Old Milwaukee flat top beer cans I have listed this week. The beer in this can was brewed about 1951. IRTP; sharp colors; minor markings on seam & lids;
