This is a fabulous example of a Hop'n Gator circa 1970 Lemon-Lime Lager beer can. This particular can is a bank. It was very common in the 1970s for canners to run a few of the cans as banks like this one just as a novelty item. Compared to actual cans, they are obviously quite rare. We have never seen another version of a Hop'n Gator Lemon-Lime Lager bank can. As far as the lager, it was introduced in 1969 by the Pittsburgh Brewing Company and consisted of an interesting mix of strong beer and Gatorade. Apparently Gatorade sued Pittsburgh Brewing in 1970, and that led to a pretty significant change in the label design of the can. This is obviously the much more rare pre-lawsuit version, which would date from either 1969 or 1970.As noted, aside from a few small dents, the condition of the can bank is excellent with great, bright label colors. This is a bimetallic can - steel sides and bottom with an aluminum (non-magnetic) top. (Condition: Pre-Owned)

Lot of 90 Beer Cans Condition varies greatly: some cans are mint, some have terrible rust, and the majority fall in the middle of the spectrum. The cans were opened in various ways as well, including bottom, side, and pull top openings. All cans are empty.
